COMMUNITY

The India Association of Greater Mobile was started in 1982 by a group of 30 families. The first president of the association was Mohammad Lanewalla. The Indian community of Mobile has seen a rapid growth in the past five years. There are currently about 150 families in the Greater Mobile area out of which about 75 families are currently members of IAGM.
